Zhen lies in the central region of the Nyewa forest, between the Katua river and the Faulan mountains, on the road that heads up into the mountains toward Kital, connecting Yuanen and Fiadh. This trade route is the quickest way to bridge the distance between the two nations, as the shipping routes must travel across Kachua bay and cover the entire Panna coast before making it to Fiadh. The lion's share of the trade is silk coming from Fiadh which cannot travel by boat and therefore is transported via long caravans over this route, connecting to Yuanen and by proxy the continent of Aimsir

These long caravans have shaped the city, which stretches out along the road far from the river. A channel has been dug which brings the river alongside the road.
