Throughout Gael there are ancient shrines, ruins, and artifacts from the ancient culture that once thrived on the continent. For those structures which must be left in place, often small camps or settlements spring up to assist the preservation efforts. These settlements often rely heavily on preservation funding. Yeoh is an example of what happens when independent industry is formed around these settlements and they grow into thriving cities in their own right. Though Yeoh is still small, it has grown by trading the unique and strange herbs and flowers that grow only on this island, and by fostering tourism for the ancient shrine on the island

The city is built primarily on the coast, and the shrine is not far from the sea, carved into the side of the mountains a mile or so from the beach, overlooking the town and the water. The shrine itself is centered around a three story statue carved with striking resemblance to the Karenu. No one in Gael is sure of the significance of the figure, though many who visit report feeling a deep spiritual connection to the shrine
