Description
Valerius is a trader captain of a small ship that he crews single-handed. While most of the merchant ships that come through the academy are en-route to the Nahkon empire or the Pharis ascendency, Valerius chooses to focus specifically on the needs of the academy and is known for getting it's staff and students alike whatever they may need. Getting what the residents what they need is a specialty and Valerius has an uncanny predict what you want before you know it. To accomplish this, Valerius will often arrive a week or two in advance of the semester and watch the students and master's comings and goings for clues about their needs. Valerius is soft spoken and guarded but is otherwise well socialized. If another Nahuali comes to the academy, even in human form, Valerius is sure to notice. If Valerius deems the student to be worthy, he will offer them a special keystone that aids them in their natural abilities, certainly at a discount, possibly for free

Margaux's Claws
A folk hero among some Nahuali clans, Margaux was the first Nahuali to live among the humans. Hunted and feared, Margaux was legendary for her strength of spirit and ability to fearlessly survive among humans, dying of old age among trusted human friends. Over the course of her long life, she saved her claws. Whether the claws were worked by jewelers or whether they simply absorbed her abundant ki energy is debated among current day Nahuali

This simple necklace is adorned with 1-6 claws fused together. For each claw, the item has one attribute. The item can only be aligned to a chakra by Nahuali. The item has some combination of the following attributes, each contained in their own claw:

• 1d6 bonus to Stealth
• Spirit Step increased by 5 feet
• +1 pip of damage when making a melee strike with claws or fangs
