Ueneg is a sleepy village on the southern coast of Gael's largest landmass, Eirah island. The city focuses heavily on fishing and farming, though the city also serves as a waystation for the southern trade routes. The city provides food provisions in exchange for goods from around the country. The ships rely on these provisions to make the long journey around the southern part of the island, where there are no major cities until Sloegr. The city has several inns to allow sailors making their way from the east to rest after their long journey, and their hospitality is well known

The city has a close relationship with the city of Ilwyn, which is connected to Ueneg via the Beraek river. The cities have setup a ferry system to extend the trade from the southern route to the north, which is also linked to Refir via road

The city's port is built upon the work of their ancient ancestors, master stonework and a shallow bay carved into the shore, presumably via Petramancy. The river is lined with large blocks of stone thirty miles out of the city
