Piscin lies at the crossroads of the River laidir and the roads branching out towards Ceilidh, Fiele, Miol, and Iora. It connects the goods flowing down the two branches of the river from the plateau, to the cities of the plains. Half the city is built directly over the river, on large stone pylons that are used to sort the items travelling down the river. Stone and wooden bridges connect the pylons in a simple network. Piscin is perhaps best known for its grand tavern, which is located on a pylon upstream from the bulk of the city.
