Kohanga rests on the shores of Koraha where the Kanawehi desert meets the sand. Kohanga is the capitol of Koraha and a primate city. The city is situated directly along the coast at the base of the Arala cliffs. Its buildings are built from sandstone, and its architecture favors 90° angles and domes painted with turquoise paint dyed by sea coral found in the waters of the Istigh seas

Near the main port lies the central square. The ground of the square is a mosaic with swirling patterns that transition seamlessly from waves to sand dunes. In the center of the square, an obsidian sculpture featuring a sapphire gem larger than an human head. The gem is a keystone which is known to heal diseases and even close wounds
