Jhenee was an ancient Terran kingdom which formed late in the Stone Age, during the era termed “the Birth of Kingdoms” by Terran historians. Jhenee was the last of the four western kingdoms to be established, at least formally. Six hundred thousand years later, Jhenee would join Hito, Kalmar, and Sehti in an alliance, the goal of which was to foster unity and free trade and passage between the kingdoms
When the Iron Age dawned, and the eastern and northern kingdoms began to war against each other, the western kingdoms began to build militaries. Each kingdom reacted differently to possibility that the fighting would spread to the western kingdoms, and their wildly divergent philosophy sparked a civil war between Jhenee and Sehti. The Jhenee believed that a stronger central government would form a better defense against potential threats, but they were alone among the four kingdoms. Kalmar and later Hito would join Sehti against the Jhenee, which precipitated their defeat
After their defeat, the remaining four kingdoms did a very surprising thing. They formed the Sehti'Ahkha'tar empire, despite fighting a war over a stronger central government, though Hito joined reluctantly and with several demands related to autonomy
