Elias is an unburdened soul. Generally well spirited and ruthlessly ambitious, Elias believes the everyone should look out for themselves first and others at a distant third. When first arriving at the school, Elias immediately begins sizing up the students and also the masters. At the encouragement of Norwin netra, Elias is learning desimancy in secret with the other initiates of his house, though he has not decided how seriously to pursue it

Elias comes from a upper middle income family that is trying to climb the social ladder within the Imsian federation. His father and mother traded in a fair amount of influence to secure Elias a place at the academy
