Ciaro lies on the banks of the Dainsear straight at the intersection where it meets the Istigh seas and the end of the Ular river. Often referred to as “The Crossroads of the Northwest”, Ciaro is by far the most cosmopolitan of all the cities in Naer. The cities impressive ports connect the Thuaidh sea to the Istigh seas and the world beyond. They also ferry goods shipped from the inner continent along the Ular river for export, and ferry people and goods across the straight to Teagh where they are taken by caravan to Crohm
