Positioned on the Eferi river as it meets the Tumadh canyon, the city of Brahamanda is a rare above ground Carragh city. The city is etched out of the sides of the canyon via a combination of petramancy and master stonecarving. Situated at the far northern end of the canyon, the canyon starts at about 450 feet deep where the Eferi River falls into the canyon, and gets even deeper very quickly. The city itself is perched in the canyon where the waterfall first hits the side of the canyon wall, climbing the sides of the canyon wall up to 100 feet from the surface. As the river drops deeper into the canyon, the city spreads along the walls of the canyon. A few bridges are constructed between the opposite sides of the canyon, connecting the otherwise isolated edges of the city
