Aolchloch is the only completely above ground Carragh city, and capitol of Fjall. Though culturally important to Fjall, the city sees few outsiders and is not what most Terrans think of as typical for Fjall, which is shaped more by Marmair. Fjall tends to prefer to stay out of the affairs of the world, and this isolation preserves a unique culture in Aolchloch. The city has a sizeable human population, though there is no distinction made between the Carragh and Human citizens, which no other community has realized
The construction of the city is almost entirely of stone, and the elevations within the city has led to a complicated maze of bridges and stairs that covers the city, which is built into the side of the Damhsa mountains. The citizens also have a profound love of textiles, which are hung liberally through out the city. Aolchloch prides itself on its artistry in stone carving, having several traditional stone carving motifs. The city itself is a canvas on which this art is practiced, giving the city an unique look.
