The Vhela are among the more intimidating species, both physically and mentally. Combat seems to run through their veins, and they gravitate to mercenary and bounty hunting work, often working alone or in small groups. The Vhela have a network of contacts, scrupulously vetting their prospective employers

The Vhela have large, broad physical builds. They have thick necks and the facial structure of a shark or orca. they have fins that extend out from the head and down the back of the neck. They have muscular arms, with small fins protruding along their forearms. They have three fingers and three toes. Their skin has a thick, rubbery appearance, and they have no hair. The front of their bodies is lighter in color, while the back of their bodies is darker in color, and sometimes patterned

The Vhela are not well loved among the galaxy, but are feared by many species, and in some cases shunned. Many will simply avoid them in public spaces. There are a few groups which respect and rely on their capabilities

Seemingly genetically predisposed to violence, the Vhela will join any suitable crew for hire, prefering combat work and bounty hunting above all else. They are used to working in small groups, and though they can be domineering to others on the crew, they will show deference to whomever hired them
