Sionnach is built on the eastern coast of Eirah island, where the Astha grasslands meets the ocean. The city is the largest and most influential in eastern Gael, serving as regional capitol. The city supports a network of twelve small villages scattered throughout the surrounding grasslands. These villages maintain an extensive network of vineyards and produce the “Silver Devil”, a white wine known for its high alcohol content, named after a particularly cunning local breed of fox. The wine is the primary export of the city, shipping out to the rest of the country via the southern trading route

The city is one of the few cities in Gael that is not built on the site of ancient ruins. Aside from an ocassional dig site or small mine, the city is surprisingly lacking in historical sites. The city started as a satellite for Kitsune and grew rapidly, overtaking its southern neighbor
