These grasslands are wedged between the Sunglai mountains and the Bay of siochana. They are lush, relative to the desert across the bay, and serve as pastoral lands in support of Arutal

• Camel - Found in the grasslands, west of Arutal
• Cougar - Found in the northern grasslands near the Sunglai mountains
• Falcon - Found throughout the grasslands
• Hyena - Found in the southwestern grasslands
• Lion - Found in the southwestern grasslands
• Northern Raven - Found across the grasslands and in the cities
• Ostrich - Found across the grasslands
• Porcupine - Found across the grasslands, especially near the Siolta and Oerken river

• Sheep - Primarily domestic herds kept near Kiyume, as far south as the Oerken river
