Chakras

A chakra is a nexus in the body where Ki energy gathers and swirls into pools before flowing on. They are the bridge between the physical body and the subtle body. The creatures of the Ardemare galaxy use these chakras as a focal point for their bindings, tethering their ki to the physical world around them. This bond between the individual and nature is extremely powerful, allowing for endless expressions of power and creativity

Chakras also serve as an attachment point for Keystones, allowing a creature to extend their ki pool outside the limits of their physical body and into a physical artifice. Chakras may be blocked, which cuts off access to keystones

Ki is more than energy and chakras are more than just containers. It is spiritual energy and consciousness, perception and love, ambition and instinct. As these flow through through you, each chakra has a role to play

Lotus chakra

The lotus chakra is also known as the “Third Eye Chakra”. It is the center of the subtle body, a step away from the physical body, and is different from the other six chakras. This chakra is believed by some to rest directly between the eyes, while others believe it floats just above the head

Crown chakra

Subtle Body Focus: Cosmic Energy is funneled into the subltle body through the crown chakra, and this chakra is the center of consciousness
Emotional Block: This chakra is blocked by attachement to the self and the physical world
Associated Color: Indigo, Violet

This chakra is believed to rest in the center of the brain, near the top of the head. Also known as the “Chakra of one thousand facets”, this chakra is often thought of as a flower that slowly blooms, reaching fruition in adulthood

Throat chakra

The throat chakra is believed to rest in the top of the throat, near the back of the mouth, and is known as the “Pure Chakra”. This chakra facilitates speech but also realizes communication and expression beyond words. This chakra is the bridge between the mind and the physical world, leading some gurus believe that the throat chakra is the most powerful chakra. Honesty, both with others and within your own mind, is essential to realizing the raw power of this chakra

Heart chakra

The heart chakra is simultaneously rooted in a sense of self and community. This chakra rests within the center of the torso, next to the heart for which it is named. It is home to the divine fragment known as the self, or the ego. The heart chakra is the source for many of the physical body's emotions

Navel chakra

Also known as the “Sea of Ki”, this chakra is located in the stomach near the spine. This chakra is closely tied to the heart chakra, and its properties are often misattributed to its neighbor. While the heart is the source of the physical body's emotions, the navel chakra is the source of emotion for the subtle body

Sacral chakra

The sacral chakra, also known as the “Base Chakra”, is located below bottom of the spine. This chakra is most closely tied to the sexual organs within the physical body, and is the channel for the continuous cosmic melody. The sacral chakra is the source of division and boundaries within the subtle and physical bodies

Root chakra
