**Description**\\
Taniya is uinque among the new students to the Academy for a few reasons. She is the first Hanum to attend the school in several decades, which used to be a more common occurence. She is also older than the Hanum initiates used to be, applying to the academy before their rite of passage into adulthood. Taniya is warm and friendly, consitently blunt and irreverent, and very mysterious. She enjoys playing pranks on the students and the masters alike, preferably anonymously if at all possible. Taniya comes to the Academy to gain power for the freedom it will buy her, though she hasn't yet sorted out exactly what she wants to do with it. Should she take to the stars on a grand adventure, or return to the [[galaxy:Hanuman Empire]] and take the leadership role that she was groomed for?
