Madra Rua is a sprawling metropolis built in the [[Mahonata Mountains]] of [[Ceann Island]] in the [[Fuechsin Seas]]. The city is carved into the mountainsides as they plummet into deep fjords, spreading out up onto the plateau above. Carved into the end of the fjord is a long tunnel which connects the fjord to the sourthern side of the island. Madra Rua is [[Gael|Gael's]] capitol and primate city

Madra Rua is built over an ancient tunnel system which still exists below the surface, extending out even beyond [[Ceann Island]], connecting to locations throughout Gael. The tunnels were related to experiments carried out in Gael's ancient past and are linked to the cataclysm that turned Gael into the broken archipelago it is today. Gael's scientists and researchers have explored the ruins below, studying the remnants of the ancient technology
