The city of Kiyume lies on the shores of the shallow [[Bay of Siochana]] where the [[Siolta River]] empties into the bay. Kiyume is a trade hub, connecting the interior of the continent to [[Arutal]] and the world beyond it. Despite its size, its connection to [[Arutal]], and its heavy focus on industry, Kiyume is a slow paced city

As the churning waters of the [[Siolta River]] approach the city, they are diverted into a massive, artificial delta. Ores from the mines and food supplies from the [[Treunka Plains]] float down the river and are diverted across the city for processing. The blue-green river channels weave through the city, under arched limestone bridges on their way to the crystal clear [[Bay of Siochana]]. On the shores of the city lies a sprawling port littered with flat bottomed barges destined for [[Arutal]]
