====== Hito ====== ===[historical kingdom]=== \\ **Pronunciation**: (HEE-toe)\\ **Continent**: Aimsir\\ **Present Day Nations**: Fiadh\\ **Timeline**: 73.3M BCE - Present\\ **Coordinates**: 13° S to 42° S, 139° W to 72° W\\ ~~TOC~~ ====History==== The kingdom of Hito formed in the Stone Age, as Aimsir's western coast was in rapid development. Hito was the first of four nations (Kalmar, Sehti, Jhenee) that formed during this age on the western side of the Sliabh Mountains. These four nations would enter into the Jhan'Ahkha'tar alliance which quickly morphed into an empire under one ruler. This empire would thrive for ten million years, but the four nations that formed the empire would retain their regional identities. The Jhenee, the nation that inhabited the plains surrounding Kachua Bay, would grow in strength, exerting its influence over the other three regions. This led to a civil war which pitted the Jhenee against the Sehti, who inhabited what is now called the Valley of the Silver Wind, the upper plains between the Faulan Mountains and the Sliabh Kalmar and Hito would join with the Sehti against the Jhenee, which would facilitate Jhenee's defeat. Sehti absorbed the majority of the lands of the Jhenee, renaming their kingdom Sehti'taal. Hito would also gain some of the lands across the Faulan Mountains, renaming their kingdom Hito'Maru. The three victorious regions split into three separate kingdoms at this time When hostilities between the three nations continued, Hito'Maru feared invasion by the Sehti and built a massive wall blocking the Faulan Pass. It can be argued that this prevented invasion for many years. The Hito then turned their attention to commerce, developing an extremely lucrative silk trade, and building an impressive series of stone bridges across the islands that dot their coast. The bridges allowed the transport of the silk without the use of ships, a key advantage which brought the Hito vast wealth, which is is well documented Hito enjoyed many years of wealth and independence until the Sehti absorbed Kalmar's territory in the Age of Blood. This gave them the armies and more importantly the navies they needed to launch an invasion of Hito'Maru that did not require traversing the Faulan Pass. The Hito were absorbed into the Jhua'nen empire and remained a part of the empire through the remainder of the Age of Blood. After the Council of Ceilidh and the end of the Blood Wars, Jhua'nen was renamed Yuanen, and it was not long after that Hito declared independence from Yuanen under the fifth clause of the Ceilidh Accord, establishing the nation of Fiadh ====Timeline==== * **73.3M BCE**: The formation of the Hito kingdom, in present day Fiadh * **65M BCE**: The kingdoms of Hito, Kalmar, Jhenee, and Sehti enter into the Jhan'Ahkha'tar alliance * **55.4M BCE**: The Jhan'Ahkha'tar civil war breaks out between the Jhenee and the Sehti clans * **55.1M BCE**: Kalmar and Sehti form an alliance against the Jhenee * **54.9M BCE**: The Hito join the Kalmar and Sehti against the Jhenee * **37.8M BCE**: The fall of the Sehti'Ahkha'tar empire.
