Reconstructed in the timelines of terran historical ages#Third Age, 847 CE, this fortress city was rebuilt by the ancestors of the previous inhabitants. During the Age of Blood, the city was destroyed, and its inhabitants fled north to the Valley of the Wind. Those refugees settled across the land, but never forgot their ancestral home. In the Third Age, Yuanen's government launched a program aimed at re-establishing and repopulating the southern lands, which laid dormant for many years. With the aid of the nation, many made a trek across the Pikwata Desert to the Kalina Forest to rebuild Several outposts and small villages were constructed, and eventually a small city state emerged with Heiyaoshi as the central hub. Almost immediately, the culture started to differentiate from the "mainland", though loyalty to Yuanen remained unusually strong The city is built on the shores of the Gulf of the Fox, on the straight separating Ghlahoin Island from the mainland continent. The fortress was constructed with wood, and rises above the forest canopy. Because the forest is thick with marshes and quicksand, the fortress is connected to the other cities in the forest by way of wide rope bridges that navigate through the dense tree canopy. Punctuated every three miles is an outpost which provides a larger platform among the trees for overnight camping, as well as a tower that extends above the tree canopy. These towers are situated so that they are always within visual range of the next tower in either direction, on a clear day. In addition to connecting the villages, there is an additional route that hugs the shores to allows soldiers to patrol the edge of the forest \\
