Dela comes from a large family of modest means on [[galaxy:Khmer]] which lives in a vast network of cities built by the [[galaxy:Pharis Ascendency]] as a safe harbor for interstellar refugees. Her family moved there when fighting broke out on the border regions of the [[galaxy:Imsian Federation]], forcing them to leave the [[galaxy:Valkirnen]] system
