Atea is an ancient [[ki spirits#Sura]] of Earth, born after [[Iweiru]] the [[ki spirits#Deva]] of Earth, and the older Suras of Earth, [[Qijen]], [[Kodhai]], and [[Andal]]. Atea is the Sura of strength and nature, and is the guardian of the natural world. Atea is revered by the [[druid|druids]] as the Sura of the Land and Sky. Their connection to the earth is made possible by Atea's existence, and it was Atea that taught the druids how to make contact with the [[ki spirits#Atua]] of Earth that inhabit all living planets

Atea has a strong bong with [[Kodhai]] and [[Idaten]], a relationship that humanoids would characterize as romantic
