Aekasa is perched inbetween the two segments of the [[Teulell Mountains]], built almost 6 million years after the [[Kal'tael]] cataclysm that split the mountains in two. The city serves as a gateway for the agricultural products of the [[Astha Grasslands]], connecting the region to the nation at large

Aekasa also has some mining operations. While these do produce minerals, the operations primarily facilitate the search for artifacts in the mountains. The [[Preservationists]] first founded this city to prove theories that an important city once existed above the split. Several artifacts have been found in the ancient destruction, especially below the waterline. Diving crews assist the mining operations in searching deep below surface. As a result of the extensive operations, Hydromancers and Petramancers are in high demand in Aekasa
