==== Saving Throws =====

Some bindings or abilities will call for a "save" which represents the opportunity to withstand or avoid some or all of the damage from an attack. Saves are used in other situations as well, any time the GM wishes to test a player's defenses or if a player is not actively avoiding danger.  

**Fortitude**: This save is based on Strength and is used when you need to withstand physical duress or to perform feats of stamina.\\

**Reflex**: This save is based on Dexterity and is used to measure your ability to react quickly to avoid danger.\\

**Will**: Your will save measures your ability to maintain your focus or resolve in the face of adversity. Will is based on Resolve. \\

**Insight**: Insight is tied to Intelligence and is used to save the player from potentially dangerous situations or from being duped by a mischievous NPC.\\

To make a saving throw, roll **3d6 + Base Defense Bonus + Attribute Bonus**.
