The Nagari (nah-GAR-ee) are known across the galaxy for their shrewdness and ambition, and have integrated themselves into the galactic political order. Due to their industrious nature, Nagari homeworlds are highly advanced, both in infrastructure, technology, and culture

==== Physical description ====
Nagari are similar to humans in their build, though slightly more slender. Their head and facial structure are distinctly snake-like, having broad, short faces with no special protrusion for the nose. Some Nagari have narrower, taller faces and a facial bone structure closer to that of a raptor. Their teeth are all pointed, and they have two prominent fangs at the front of the mouth. Their eyes are somewhat separated, being on either side of the head. Some Nagari have snaking tendrils extending from the top of the head like hair, while others have a hood that extends from the back of the head back down to the base of the neck. Their skin is scaly from head to toe, and they have an inverted ankle, small claws on their fingers and toes, and a tail extending about 30 inches from the base of the spine

Nagari have good relationships with most races, at least on the surface, though there are many that harbor deep-seated mistrust of the Nagari. Despite this mistrust, the Nagari are well positioned in the global power structure
