The Karenu were created with a special connection to [[Kodhai]], the architect of the rational species of the galaxy. This special connection was forged in response to the creation of the [[Ignel]] by [[Belin]]. To this day, many Karenu still directly serve Kodhai, travelling across the galaxy doing whatever task they are assigned, travelling outward from Kodhai's domain in the [[galaxy:galactic geography#galactic core]] towards the fringes of the galaxy. Often, these missions involve diplomacy between warring factions. Karenu are famous for their longevity, and also for their long memories. This strength is fed both by their long lives and a genetic trait which passes on the strongest memories of the parents directly to the children

==== Physical description ====
Karenu have large builds, humanoid shaped bodies covered in a thick leather, and elaphantine physical features. They have four arms, two on each side of the body that both extend from the shoulder, one under the other. They have long trunks and two sets of sizeable tusks that protrude, one forward and one down the length of the trunk. On the top of the head they have a patch of hair that extends from the top of the forehead back over the head and down a the neck stopping a third of the way down the back. Their hands have three fingers and one thumb, and their feet are padded with no separation between the toes

The Karenu actively foster good relations with other species, and are frequently involved in diplomatic missions between species. In general, they command high respect throughout the galaxy

==== Adventurers ====
Those Karenu that directly serve [[Kodhai]] are constantly travelling the galactic winds, though this does not necessarily classify them as adventurers. Those that do not serve Kodhai are a mix, some live their lives in small Karenu settlements that are spread across the galaxy, while others take to highly nomadic lives, many have become famous adventurers. It is often the cause of a great amount of speculation whether or not these adventuring Karenu are servants of Kodhai or not, and there have been a few cases where it was confirmed that an adventurer accepted a mission from Kodhai

**Four-Handed**: As a free action, gain an additional Swift action. Cooldown 2 rounds\\
