Inland post town along the road connecting central [[Gerth]] to [[Reithe]] and the rest of western [[Aimsir]]. The cities location was originally chosen for its natural hotsprings, which makes it a favored stop over for travelers of the roads and [[gerth channel|channel]] alike. Ainmhi is also the origin of the road heading north to [[Lus Liath]], which is the only road leading to the monastery

Ainmhi was first founded in the [[timelines of terras historical ages#Iron Age]] as a waypoint on the military road that was created by [[Shak'tar]] to facilitate troop movements heading west to expand the empire
