Nagari are similar to humans in their build, though slightly more slender. Their head and facial structure are distinctly snake-like, having broad, short faces with no special protrusion for the nose. Some Nagari have narrower, taller faces and a facial bone structure closer to that of a raptor. Their teeth are all pointed, and they have two prominent fangs at the front of the mouth. Their eyes are somewhat separated, being on either side of the head. Some Nagari have snaking tendrils extending from the top of the head like hair, while others have a hood that extends from the back of the head back down to the base of the neck. Their skin is scaly from head to toe, and they have an inverted ankle, small claws on their fingers and toes, and a tail extending about 30 inches from the base of the spine Nagari are similar to humans in their build, though slightly more slender.
